We are proud of our Olympus Grants Program and the positive impact it has on medical and microscopy communities across the Americas. To qualify for grant consideration, independent medical education programs and events must relate to disease states, conditions, or treatments that involve the use of Olympus products. Product Donations
The Olympus Grants Committee considers applications for the following types of permanent product donations:
Medical Outreach
Olympus product donations for mission trips or philanthropic patient care are coordinated exclusively through Olympus’ preferred partner, Americares.
Medical & Microscopy Societies
The Olympus Grants Committee reviews requests for permanent product donations for use in training and educational facilities as well as for purposes controlled and operated exclusively by Medical and Microscopy Societies in the Americas.
The Olympus Grants Committee has paused requests for permanent product donations. Please check back in November 2022 for potential updates.

Charitable Giving

At Olympus Corporation of the Americas, we do not accept for consideration:
- Unsolicited proposals or sponsorship requests of any kind for charitable support/contributions.
- Requests from individual healthcare professionals, microscopists, or healthcare facilities for contributions to fundraising activities such as golf outings, galas, or capital campaigns.
Olympus Professional Education
Olympus Professional Education is a comprehensive platform of education and training experiences led by healthcare experts from around the world. Learning and training opportunities include hands-on courses, online learning, lectures and workshops, peer-to-peer training, accredited continuing education, and custom on-demand learning as well as a vast library of educational resources.
Sponsorships
At Olympus Corporation of the Americas, we consider opportunities for meaningful ways to promote our products and our brand, including through trade shows, conventions, conferences, and other promotional events. Examples include exhibitor booths, tabletop displays, award category sponsorships, printed (or electronic) advertisements, or attendance opportunities for Olympus personnel. These opportunities are addressed individually by each of our business units in a manner specifically designed to be separate and distinct from the Olympus Grants process.
